A Uniquely Qualified Voice for South Austin

Ann Kitchen offers an unparalleled breadth of experience, expertise, and commitment to serve our community on the Austin City Council.  A consumer advocate, attorney, and reformer, she’s the kind of highly qualified, dedicated public servant we need for South Austin. Ann has demonstrated that she will stand up for the public, and has repeatedly shown the ability to bring people together to solve difficult community problems.

A South Austinite for over 20 years and former Texas State Representative, Ann has fought for stronger environmental rules, a more affordable Austin, protection of children, women’s health, strengthening public schools, and protecting Austin neighborhoods. Ann has been active on the local, state, and national levels to improve access to quality health care.
