Ann has demonstrated that she will stand up for the public, and has repeatedly shown the ability to bring people together to solve difficult community problems.

A South Austinite for over 20 years and former Texas State Representative, Ann has fought for stronger environmental rules, a more affordable Austin, protection of children, women’s health, strengthening public schools, and protecting Austin neighborhoods. Ann has been active on the local, state, and national levels to improve access to quality health care.

Ann enjoys tapdancing, biking, kayaking, walking, swimming, and yoga.
